Camera Permission

We request access to your device's camera strictly for the purpose of scanning QR codes and Barcodes in real-time. The camera stream is processed entirely on your local device. We do not record, save, or transmit any images or video feeds to our servers or any third parties.

Gallery & Storage Permission

We request access to your device's photo gallery and storage to allow you to scan QR codes and Barcodes from images you have already saved. The image analysis is performed locally on your device. We do not upload, modify, or transmit your personal photos.

3. How Information is Used

The information processed by the App (such as the content of a scanned QR code) is used solely to provide the App's core functionality (e.g., opening a URL, connecting to Wi-Fi, or copying text). This data is processed in real-time.

4. Data Storage & History

AmbQR includes a "History" feature that saves your scanned codes for your convenience. This data is stored locally on your device's internal storage using secure local databases. You have full control over this data and can delete individual records or clear your entire history at any time from within the App.

5. Third-Party Services

Our App is built using the Flutter framework and utilizes standard local libraries (such as MobileScanner). We do not integrate third-party analytics trackers, advertising networks, or data brokers that collect your personal usage data.

6. Security

We value your trust in providing us with your data, thus we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. Since your data is kept locally on your device, the security of your data relies heavily on your device's built-in security features (such as screen locks and encryption). We strongly recommend keeping your device's operating system updated.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Since we do not collect personal data, no data from children is transmitted to us.
