Frequently Asked Questions
Simply open the AmbQR app and point your device's camera at the QR code. The app will automatically detect, focus, and read the code instantly. Ensure there is enough lighting and the code is within the frame.
The camera permission is strictly required to act as the "eye" for the scanner. Without camera access, the app cannot see or read physical barcodes. We do not record video or save any camera data.
Yes! Tap the "Gallery" icon on the main scanning screen. You will need to grant storage/gallery permissions. Select the image containing a QR code, and the app will decode it instantly.
Navigate to the "History" tab in the bottom navigation bar. You can swipe left on individual items to delete them, or use the delete all button to clear your entire local database.
